 The Festival is open for school and college
students, and Russian music lovers from all over the world.
We
expect our participants to present to the auditorium compositions of
the famous Russian composers, like Borodin, Balakirev,
Rimsky-Korsakov, Tchaikovsky, Glinka, Rachmaninoff, Scriabin,
Shostakovich, Prokofiev, Stravinsky and others at participants’
choice.
With concerts on the New York major stages, we have possibility
to make a difference in every person’s life through introducing
music of Russian composers to students, their parent and relatives,
and to the open public.
Through live performances American Protégé promotes Russian music
in the United States and abroad. Our goal is to bring people together through inter-cultural exchange
and create greater cultural understanding.

American Protégé Russian Music Piano Festival will take place
at 8 PM on Sunday, April 26, 2009 at Merkin Concert Hall at Kaufman
Center.
How to Apply:
- Applicants must submit CD/DVD/VHS tape with completed
application form.
- Short biography of the applicant (past participations in
competitions, festivals and other events) in electronic format
via e-mail
- Non-refundable application fee US$60.00
for compositions of less than 5 min and $120.00 for
5 to 10 min.

Deadline – April 7, 2009.
To be eligible for the Festival award at least
one piece should be of the Russian composer.
Recording materials must be labeled.

The CD/DVD/VHS Tape will not be returned.

Non-refundable recital fee of $170.00
is due after the notification. It includes 4
