Welcome to American Protégé
American Protégé is designed for young musicians, actors, singers and dancers on the path to a successful career. We invite all talented youth to demonstrate their potential during American Protégé 2012-2013 Season. A new season's program has been announced and will offer a number of competitions, including new ones, where the participants will have an opportunity to showcase their unique talents.
The American Protégé International Competition of Romantic Music 2011, International Piano and Strings Competition 2012 and International Music Talent Competition 2012 were a great success, with eight concerts at Carnegie Hall and Merkin Concert Hall.
We continue to grow and in 2011-2012 our Competitions attracted the largest number of very competitive applicants on record. They hail from every corner of the world including various parts of the U.S., Canada, Denmark, Germany, France, Poland, Italy, Romania, Israel, Russia, Ukraine, Georgia, Armenia, Uzbekistan, Japan, China, Korea, Indonesia, Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Taiwan, Philippines, Australia, Guatemala and Costa Rica.
American Protégé is advancing the careers of our participants and winners as well as promoting their talents. The program seeks to encourage more young musicians to perform and grow. We believe the program offers many benefits to participants and helps to build their confidence and realize their dreams. Being introduced to new audiences on stage in New York City, one of the world’s grandest performance venues, participants can expect to have a memorable experience.
Our success and reputation as one of the best competitions can be attributed to several factors including highly qualified and acclaimed judges with strong musical backgrounds, friendly staff, a renowned recital stage and, foremost, elite participants from all over the world.
